Well, just another day of boredom on the FOB …went over to the office to send off my weekly email that says nothing has changed from last weekend…got some more lyrics and guitar tabs to practice some more songs…talked to my captain and told him that we are still at 100% on our trucks—only a few minor things that we need to order parts for…little stuff like turret handles that need to be replaced and tail lights…went out to the clinic to rock out with the band…we spent most of the day going thru the guitar pedal settings to make sure we have all the right sounds for each song…then the rest of it was spent working on an “easy” song…it turned out to be a little more trouble than we thought it would be…it’s all good tho—it was the first time trying it and it should be pretty much together tomorrow…chow was crap again…it started to taste good for a little while there—I think it just got to the point that we haven’t had good food in such a long time we think this food is OK…well, that only lasted a couple days for me…now things are back to crap…hung out and watched some tv dvds…I think I am done watching all of the last batch…lucky for me AK already sent out another box…also, I don’t think I mentioned the amaryllis—the blooms all shriveled and I cut off the stems and everything down to the bulb again…that was about a week or so ago—but good news; it’s already growing again…so I guess I might have a couple more flowers before I leave … I haven’t taken it outside for a while so it hasn’t had any sun… I guess I will start taking back out tomorrow…also, hit the gym and got a nice workout…for some reason it was really crowded in there tonight…I guess people were out on a mission all day and didn’t get their gym time in…whatever…and now I am totally done for the day … I will probably sit here and watch some Earl and see what interesting stuff I can find on the internet—new tattoos, motorcycles, stupid jokes, tangerine carving tips, different ways to build solar powered houses, things like that …I am trying to stay away from any online shopping—I really don’t need anything and I am trying not to spend any more money the rest of the time I am here, but for some reason I get bored and just start buying crap I don’t need…anyhoo…that’s all for now…love you and miss you all
